About the role
Energy CX is hiring a Revenue Operations Manager to build and own the revenue operating system that powers how the company makes decisions, turning fragmented data into a trusted, self-sustaining system for pipeline, forecasting, and capacity planning.
This person will own HubSpot and the broader revenue tech stack, build the metrics and forecasting infrastructure the business runs on, and connect marketing, sales, customer success, and finance around a single source of truth, ensuring the right answers surface before anyone has to ask.
Responsibilities
Own and evolve ECX's revenue operating system, including pipeline intelligence, forecasting, and capacity planning, as the foundation for how the company makes revenue decisions.
Own HubSpot and the broader revenue tech stack as the system of record, enforcing data quality standards across the full lead-to-cash lifecycle
Diagnose and anticipate structural gaps in data, process, and cross-team handoffs
Build a metrics layer that runs on its own: pipeline, forecast, and revenue reporting that requires no manual reconciliation
Support GTM enablement infrastructure: comp plans, quota tracking, territory design, and capacity/headcount planning
Maintain revenue data integrity, covering stage exits, ACV fields, pipeline hygiene rules (auto-aging, closed-lost automation), and CRM data quality SLAs
Build and maintain the metrics layer, including ramp time, capacity, GRR, margin change, and other KPIs used across departments
Run pipeline and rep diagnostics, surfacing stale accounts, coverage misses, and conversion red flags proactively
Own forecast and capacity planning, including coverage math, slippage tracking, quota modeling, and reconciling pipeline discrepancies
Administer comp plans and quota tracking, and own/rationalize the broader revenue tech stack
Partner with engineering on data pipelines connecting HubSpot to billing and internal analytics tooling, including ECX's ABEL decision engine
What we're looking for
Required:
5–8 years in revenue operations, sales operations, or GTM analytics at a high-growth B2B company, has built systems and instrumentation from messy data, not just inherited a working one
Deep HubSpot (or equivalent CRM) administration experience, has owned a CRM instance through a growth phase, including field governance and lifecycle-stage design
Strong SQL and comfort working with data pipelines; validates numbers at the source rather than trusting dashboard output
Systems thinker who fixes root causes upstream rather than symptoms downstream, with a strong bias for action
Understands renewal/retention motion on top of new-logo pipeline
Preferred:
Experience with recurring-revenue metrics: CAC, LTV, renewal rate, revenue backlog, weighted average remaining contract life
Ramp, productivity, or capacity analytics experience, has measured or moved a ramp curve before
Experience supporting territory/book design, capacity planning, and headcount modeling with GTM leadership
Background transitioning from a producer role (AE, AM, or CSM) into operations, or experience with post-merger/post-migration data cleanup
